How HCP's Custom Pricing Works

1) How many hours of coverage do you need?

High Contrast Photography's services are charged at $450 per hour. (Most weddings book between 8-10 hours of photography coverage.)

This rate includes:

A one-hour engagement session at a location of your choosing
Two photographers on the wedding day (Sarah + a second shooter), plus a non-shooting assistant
Your final edited images hosted in an online hosting gallery
A crystal flash drive of your final edited images with a print release

2) What kind of albums would you like?

High Contrast Photography offers custom designed luxury albums in a variety of styles. No two couples are alike, so your album should reflect your personality as a couple and the style of your wedding. All albums are professionally designed and expertly crafted to tell the unique story of your wedding day, and come complete with a keepsake box to preserve your memories for years to come.

Wedding albums come in sizes of either 10x10 (80 images) or 12x12 (90 images)
Parent albums are also available, which are smaller duplicates of the wedding album in either 6x6 or 8x8
Purchasing an album is not required, but we will look at samples together to help aid your decision!

Minimums and Travel Policies

An eight hour minimum applies for all weekend weddings (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays), so wedding packages begin at $3600.00.
The included travel radius for weddings is 60 miles from Havre de Grace, MD.
The included travel radius for engagement sessions is 40 miles from Havre de Grace, MD.

How Far is 40 or 60 Miles?

The 60-mile radius for weddings covers all of Harford County, Cecil County, Baltimore County, and Baltimore City. It also generally covers everything...

As far south as Northern Annapolis
As far north as Manheim, PA
As far west as Westminster, MD
As far east as Western Philadelphia

The 40-mile radius for engagement sessions also includes all of Harford, Cecil, and Baltimore counties. It also includes further locations like:

Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA
The Inner Harbor in Baltimore City
Star Bright Farm in White Hall, MD
Chateau Bu-De Winery in Earleville, MD

Destination Weddings

If you're getting married somewhere outside HCP's travel radius, never fear! Sarah is addicted to travel and would love to capture your destination day. Because this requires blocking off an entire weekend along with booking travel and accommodation arrangements, there are fixed rates for destination weddings.

For each tier, HCP would arrive at minimum the afternoon before the wedding to ensure we are on time and well-prepared for the wedding day, and depart the day after the wedding. Albums would be booked a la carte in addition to your package, if desired.

Driveable Destination - $5000.00

This is any location in the following states: Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Virginia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and southeast New York. In other words, a place that's a feasible half-day drive and doesn't require a plane ticket! This includes the following:

One hour engagement session (within 40 miles of Havre de Grace)
Two photographers for up to 10 hours on the wedding day
Your final edited images in an online hosting gallery
A crystal flash drive of your final edited images with a print release
Travel fees, including gas, accommodations, and meals

Domestic Destination - $6500.00

This is any location not listed above that's in the lower 48 (anywhere in the US except Alaska and Hawaii). This includes the following:

One hour engagement session (within 40 miles of Havre de Grace)
Two photographers for up to 11 hours on the wedding day
Your final edited images in an online hosting gallery
A crystal flash drive of your final edited images with a print release
Travel fees, including flights, rental car, accommodations, and meals

International Destination - $8000.00

This is anywhere outside the contiguous United States, extending as far as Alaska/Hawaii, Europe, and the Caribbean. This includes the following:

One hour engagement session (within 40 miles of Havre de Grace)
Two photographers for up to 12 hours on the wedding day
Your final edited images in an online hosting gallery
A crystal flash drive of your final edited images with a print release
Travel fees, including flights, ground transportation, accommodations, and meals
